Leeza has more than 9 years of financing and capital markets experience in the Hong Kong and Singapore markets.

She has strong expertise in a broad range of debt and equity products, including convertible and exchangeable bonds, corporate hybrids, medium term note programmes, private and pre-initial public offering fund raisings and liability management transactions.

She is also well versed in hybrid financing structures combining elements of loans, bonds and equities.

Leeza also provides advice on regulatory matters relating to corporate finance and fundraising. In particular, she acted as lead counsel to two international financial institutions on the uplift of their legal documentation for compliance with the new requirements on book-building and placing activities promulgated by the HK SFC.

Prior to joining BTPLaw LLC, Leeza worked in a leading Magic Circle law firm based in Hong Kong and a major Singapore law firm. She has advised on many of the region’s landmark financing, capital markets and liability management deals, including headline transactions for Meituan, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, Guangzhou R&F Properties, Link Real Estate Investment Trust, South Korean conglomerate SK Hynix Inc. and Vietnam’s biggest private conglomerate Vingroup.
