Stephen is a seasoned offshore BVI transactional lawyer who has been practicing offshore for more than 20 years.  He has held partner and leadership roles at a number of the larger offshore firms. He was most recently the Managing Partner of the Singapore office of a prominent offshore firm.

Stephen advises on a full range of BVI and cross border commercial matters, including, but not limited to:

Stephen has also held senior positions in several BVI trust and corporate services businesses over the years

Over the course of his career, Stephen has been ranked as a leading lawyer in his field by offshore legal directories such as IFLR1000, Legal500 and Chambers Asia Pacific. He has provided expert evidence on matters of BVI law to courts in the United States of America, Bermuda, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Earlier in his career, he served as a law clerk to the judges of the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa, Canada.

He was for many years a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
