Brandon is well-recognised as a thought leader in the variable capital companies (VCC) space, having set up more than 10% of the VCCs in the market as of 1 April 2021. 

Notably, he was the Legal Advisor to one of the 18 Fund Managers selected to be part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s exclusive VCC pilot programme.

In 2021, Brandon was nominated in the Asian Legal Business Awards 2021 as a finalist for the category of Young Lawyer of the Year in the whole of Southeast Asia. 

In 2022, Brandon was recognised by asialaw as a Notable Practitioner for Private Equity, and was recognised as a Rising Star by Asian Legal Business. In 2024, he was recognised by The Legal500 as a Next Generation Partner for Investment Funds.

Brandon has also been involved in a number of public and private transactions, such as initial public offerings and series fund raising for start-ups.

He is also well-versed in the cryptocurrency regulatory space, having issued Singapore legal opinions for several tokens of blockchain projects.
